CCC continues to advocate at a national level on behalf of members with various stakeholders.
CCC continues to express its pronounced concern to the CRA Charities Directorate regarding their nonprofit CCS sector review. Recently, the Charities Directorate announced that it has suspended its operations until further notice.
Because of COVID19, it is very unlikely that the CRA will be going after charities at the moment, which gives members some breathing room. Read more….
The CBA has also postponed planned amendments to the framework arrangement which would have made reporting more difficult this year. CCC is working on additional concessions and looks forward to updating members as we make progress.
